Kharfaq is a village on the way to Khplu on the left bank of Shyok River. 

Kharfaq Lake is the famous place to visit in the valley. 

Khafaq lake trekking is famous among the trekkers and nature lovers which is around 8 km uphill from the village. You will be mesmerized by the beauty of the lake once you reach there. 

If you go furhter uphill you can reach the K-2 Viewpoint. From this place you can see the K-2 and some other peaks like Broad Peak, G-1 and G-II etc. 

Don't forget to carry proper trekking kits otherwise you will face issue due to harsh weather if the weather goes cloudy.
