Chitral National Park | | Chitral Gol Park

Do you know how the national park idea emerged and it dispersed all around the world and really helped in saving the mother nature in its purest form, otherwise the human monsters would have destroyed the very part of the world; form desolate mountainous regions to the sunny beaches.
The Yellowstone National Park of United Staes is considered the first national park of the world because prior to this there was no such concept of protecting the wild nature and wildlife. This played a vital role and the idea spread and adopted by almost every nation in the world to save such areas which are meant to be kept protected from human activities which could disturb the natural environment of the flora and fauna.
The government of Pakistan adopted the idea and declared many areas as the national park. Currently, there are 29 national parks in Pakistan.

How to enjoy the Chitral National Park?

This national park is also known as Chitral Gol National Park and it is one of the most beautiful national parks in the country. The flora, fauna, and the sublime beauty of the landscape makes it a part of heaven.
There are many ways to enjoy here. First, when you reach the Chitral Town a jeepable road will lead you to the park and the ravine which connects the park with the town itself is beautiful. You can have a birds-eye view of whole Chital city from a height and can see the Markhor (National animal of Pakistan) if you are lucky enough because they are not seen all the time but sometimes they come downhill in search of fresh grass. Snow leopard can also be seen sometimes. Along with you can have a look at the icy summits of the Hindukush range peaks around and the wild herbs and shrubs filled with many kinds of birds make it a unique place to enjoy.

Another benefit is you can enjoy camping over there easily because carrying the camping gear isn't that difficult as the town is nearby and you don't need to be worried in case you want to return or order something else.
