Zharba Lake or Jarba Lake Shigar Skardu Baltistan

It is a panoramic and beautiful lake in the Shigar Valley of Skardu District, only at a distance of about half hour drive from the Skardu city. To reach this beautiful lake one has to drive from the Skardu city towards the Shigar Valley on Skardu-Shigar Road which leads to the K-2 peak. After crossing the bridge on Indus River the lake is on a ridge in the entrance of Shigar Valley. The lake is surrounded by the Indus River on one side and Shigar River from another.
